Bounce Energy offers chance at free electricity

More and more businesses have taken to social media like Facebook and Twitter to get their message across, but one Texas electricity provider decided to offer a good deal more than some information.

Houston-based Bounce Energy announced at the start of the month that it plans to give away an entire year’s-worth of electricity to one lucky customer.

All that people have to do in order to take part in the contest is like Bounce on its Facebook page, and they’ll get a chance to avoid their electricity bills entirely just in time for the blistering Texas summers.

Anyone looking to improve their chances of winning can grab an extra slot for every friend or family member they convince to take part in the program. The program will run through the end of April.

Since they will already be saving money by switching electricity providers, this could turn out to be a popular program. However, with nearly 51,000 people already supporting the company on Facebook, Bounce has already shown how strong its support is in the community.
